  1. I think the super hero presentation theme was super cool and fun! The topic itself was very interesting and I learned a couple things that I didn't know. My favorite was the video on portion sizes. It was so cool to see what portions looked like back then and hoe they've grown. It's crazy, and terrible. And now I know that the portions given out today are way too big! I need to eating smaller portions. -Taline

  2. Nice reference of the Avengers. I agree that obesity in the U.S. is an immense issue. It is a problem that continues to exist, especially among kids. In my opinion, I think that the problem starts with the parents of the children. Parents should be more concerned and must discipline their children. It is not limiting the kid's choices of what they should eat but rather it is doing their job as parents to look out for their kids and their health. Some may argue that kids should not be limited to what they want to eat, however I strongly disagree with that since they are still living under their parent's roof therefore they should obey their parents.

  3. I think food needs to be taken seriously and the food needs to be balanced not just one category is being consumed excessively other than vegetables, dairy, etc. I thought that this blog was assuring and had a lot of facts that I didn't know about. Now I'm concerned about my diet and need to have a balanced diet. -Kaitlyn
